Registration is open from November 15th to December 15 - see our registration page for the form. NOTE that a Sportsheadz account is needed to register.  See our registration help page if you don't have an account.  Please reach out to our registrar with any questions.

Calling all Coaches and Volunteers

Programs can only run if we have enough coaches, so now is a great time to sign up as a coach, assistant coach, or helper.

  • Divisions need 4-6 coaches each to run

The league provides training and we try to match new coaches with existing coaches when possible. Follow this link to the coach registration form or contact our VP of Coach and Player Development.  NOTE that a Sportsheadz account is needed to register.  See our registration help page if you don't have an account.

Not comfortable coaching? Why not volunteer in another way? The league is always looking for more help. We need adult umpires, convenors, as well as a host of other volunteer roles. If you have some free time and would like to be part of providing Little League programming, please contact our registrar.

2026 Winter ball programs and fees

OWLL is a volunteer-run organization. Programming is only possible when there are enough volunteers and enough players to field programs.  For this winter, OWLL will be offering training/development programs to enhance players' technical skills and development to help players prepare for the 2026 season. Spaces are limited, so hurry and register.  You must live within the OWLL boundary, if you are not sure if your address is in boundary, please check here to verify that OWLL is your league.

NEW FOR 2026: For parents of minor and major age children, please note that OWLL is modifying the programs that we offer for winter ball to accommodate our new travel ball program for 2026. The travel ball program is a Little League designation* that we are adopting as an expansion of our prospects program. This will allow us to offer more training spots to players who want increased skill development and the opportunity to play more competitive ball in the spring. You'll note that players in the minor/major ages are now grouped together into national and Canadian divisions with the option to sign up for a travel team tryout on January 3rd.

Players can sign up for the national or Canadian divisions or they can choose to try out for the travel teams. If they are not selected to a travel team, they will be offered a spot in the minor major Canadian group. The players who are selected for travel, teams will be divided into groups by age with 9U/10U/11U/12U groupings. Each group will have their own coach and practice together as a team. There will be approximately 15 players on each team.

* Being selected for a travel ball team does not mean that your child will be traveling every weekend in the spring, it simply means that we can form the teams earlier, that they will be eligible to play in tournaments in May should their coach/team elect to play in those tournaments, and will help us select players for our Canadian teams in summer ball at an earlier date. This is a direct response to feedback from parents who were looking to have teams formed earlier in the spring and opportunities to further their child's skill development.

Note that all program groups have sessions at two different locations (so bottom of page for program addresses), so that we can offer a wide range of development opportunities.
