OWLLBA prides itself on being run entirely by dedicated volunteers and would not be able to exist without their help. Please volunteer for at least one of the many volunteer opportunities. Most jobs require only a little time, but are essential for the League to run smoothly.
We need volunteers to be:
- Coaches
- Assistant Coaches
- T-Ball Helper
- Score Keepers,
- Team Managers
- Team Trainors
- Canteen Attendants (work with the Director, Tournament Co-ordination)
- Grounds Keepers (work with the Field Manager)
- Member of Capital Projects Team (e.g. batting cage, covered dugouts, etc.)
- Executive Members: Field Manager, Equipment Manager, Director Summer and T-Ball Convenor
- Umpires
- Field Scheduler
- Event day help (Pete Loyen Tournament, Fun Day, districts and provincial tournaments)
- and more . . .
If you would like to volunteer for any of these roles, please indicate this on your registration form or email OWLL Volunteers to get in touch.
We also welcome high school students looking to complete their community service obligations, including those who would like to extend their volunteer experience beyond the school minimum standards. Please email OWLL Volunteers to make arrangements.
Student volunteers are eligible! Please indicate on your application/e-mail that you are a student looking for volunteer hours. When you are ready to submit your hours to the school, note either the
OWLL President or other
OWLLBA executive member.
