New for 2026, OWLL will be offering a women/girls/non-binary umpire training session.
This is perfect for new umpires who want to join the ranks but aren't sure that they will fit into a male-dominated profession, and female/non-binary umpires who have attended the training in the past but weren't comfortable that umpiring was right for them. This session is being offered as a result of feedback that we have received from previous training sessions.
OWLL umpires, Abby Gray-Donald, Krista Gray-Donald, and Sophia Milks will be leading a women/girls/non-binary umpire training session on April 12th at 2:00pm at Sir Robert Borden HS. It will cover the information that is presented in the traditional training offered on April 11th, but will be presented by female umpires to a smaller group. It is open to youth and adult umpires.
